December 31, 201411 yr It all depends upon the Customs agent that is assigned to your shipment. Tea money may or may not be required since the Customs laws are like the traffic laws in Thailand, it is all dependent upon who stops you and for what, the law is not the problem, it is the uneven enforcement that is the problem If you are working for an International Company they should have a department that should handle it for you . If you have been hired locally then it is up to you to make the arrangements Next to owning property in Thailand, these Customs questions are probably the most controversial ones posted here, since everyones experience is different. Some pay nothing, others pay a small fortune
