brotherother
Does anyone know of a place here that rents out power tools, such as drills, saws, etc? Thanks for any ideas.
haybilly
There is a second hand shop on the road from Big C Hang Dong to San Kamphaeng on left side after Global House, called Rommit2Hand, and when I was there about 1 month ago, I noticed some circular saws for hire- can't say of they have any other kit, but could be worth a look. brotherother
Good tip, I'll take a look next time I'm over that way. Thanks
MrBrad
I once heard that Chiang Mai Tools on the Superhighway just east of the river, north side of the highway rents tools. If it's convenient, it might be worth checking there. http://goo.gl/maps/Dg4he

Greenside
Please post here or send me a PM if you do find a decent rental shop. It's a useful resource and I'll add it to my map.
brotherother
I'm in no real rush but I do intend to check both of the above suggestions. And yes, I'll report back my findings - I can never understand why others find it so hard to do so, having asked for and been given help surely it's the least you can do in return.
