Bogan Koori
I was eating the markets behind Robinsons last night and too my disgust this farang scumbag comes along with an acoustic guitar, and starts belting out some shit tunes. He even had his 3 children with him. What sort of bum gets around doing this with his kids at 9 pm on a weeknight. He looked English.

Somtamnication
There is a Russian / Ukranian busker on the walkway between Central and Homeworks. But if you look at him, he looks Mauritanian with long brown hair, white skin and a horrible voice. But then again, he could be Serbian, or South African...<deleted> knows. It will be interesting in a few years time when we see some "50/50 kids" or "luk khrueng" kids who happened to take on their father's physical appearance, rather than their mother's, and are working in occupations reserved for Thai's only. The look on Immigration Officer's faces will be priceless when a "farang" pulls out a genuine Thai ID Card and or Thai Passport. So, in the future, you may think you see a foreigner is working illegally here, but they are actually a Thai National, or dual national. Popular Post CraigSchuler
Maybe because Thailand makes it very difficult for a Farang to legally support his family in Thailand!

I make it a point to stare at him an shake my head. Doesn't even sing in English the thais find him amusing I think he's Russian. Kind of surprised they let him continue do that. I had to Google two words from this thread 1. Busker - chiefly British, a person who entertains in a public place for donations 2. bollo - slang term for the word <deleted> which means one of the following 1. something rubbish 2. a falsehood or series of lies 3. something great 4. the best possible 5. testicles 6. exclamation on making a error. I hope to eventually learn to speak English here in Thailand. I only speak American now, but I know a few Australian words.

He is a scumbag. Getting his kids to go collect money off strange farangs at night is no different to the young Thai kids encouraged to go and sell flowers to sex tourists. He gives them ideas that it's ok to accept gifts from strangers at night. Would he be doing the same if he were in London? I doubt it.
forrwhat
Busking does not mean your a bum. You are playing music in public sometimes with the hopes of tips according to the quality of your playing. Bruce Springsteen was caught busking in a NYC subway about 10 years ago. He didn't do it for money but maybe to try new material. You walk on almost any main public through fare in any major city ( Themes in London, Kalakaua Ave in Hawaii, Los Ramblas in Barcelona,) you will see everything from an indigent playing a box to a string quartet. As long as they are not in your face begging let them be and keep walking. Is seems posters on TV love to hate other westerners or anything similar to their place of origin.
