What privilidges can I expect from the 'True Black Card'?

I've just received an (unsolicited) True (TOGETHER IS TRUE) black card. This comes at a most opportune time since my banks have cancelled all my credit cards due to the failure of my latest business venture {Premier Escort Services LLC} and the debt which has subsequently resulted...

Am I correct to presume the True black card provides the same benefits which my previous American Express Black Card did???

I've repeatedly called the "True You Call Center" (0-2999-5555) but nobody answers...I'm particularly interested if True will extend a US$25,000 line of credit like AMEX did...

A few minutes ago I was at the 7-11 and attempted to buy a package of 'Mama' noodles and the sales assistant said I had to purchase a total of 99 baht or more in merchandise to receive a 10% discount (using the True Black Card). Needless to say, I'm bitterly disappointed at this turn of events as I expected the True Black Card would entitle me to a more--how can I put this--broader range of benefits...

Have any TVF members had a similar experience with the True Black Card??? I'm seriously considering having my attorney contacting the Thai Consumer Protection Agency and reporting this matter...

Any advice will be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Am I understanding you correctly: you were going to use a credit card to buy a pack of noodles and anticipated a discount?

I do believe that the OP was intending to eat the noodles with his tongue firmly in his cheekwhistling.gif

Thank God!

Thank for the real LOL cheesy.gif when I read you are going to straighten out something Thai by going yourself to Thai authorities. I hope you are a troll, because if serious, you are in for a wonderful, "amazing Thailand" awakening.

Try to get the True Black telephone number of FOUR digitswai.gif for the call center, which does answer..... sometimes instead of never.

LOL..... After reading this thread I went to buy a pack of Noodles with my Kasikorn Platinum Credit Card.. I think they felt sorry for me so they gave them to me for free!

You could try the Tesco Club Card scheme, I even believe Starbucks are issuing cards too..

On a serious note, I doubt you will get a $25'000 credit line with an unsolicited discount card.

This a total joke fabrication post specially consider the Black card as mentioned related to Amex. For the info of all Amex black is totally unlimited. You can buy a car or a plane with it plus. It is usually limited to folks with unlimited income IE hollywood success and wall street successes.

Good one, stop the troll!

I got a True Black Card, its utterly useless, its just a marketing scheme to make you feel all VIP. Always have to send an sms to get a discount on a meal, etc etc.
