52 Places to go in 2015 - Great animated pictures

Featured Replies

Yes, I was amazed with the technology and the pictures.

As about the list.....some places are in my bucket list some not..........but this is to each individual to decide.

I've been to most of these places, and would love to visit some of the others. Especially South Africa!

been to 11, 22, 24 27 44 46 in the past two years and mostly liked it.

the astonishing thing is that the places you are recommended to skip / shun for a long time, are usually the most rewarding.

For example Myanmar, which I avoided for a long time and only went there as late as 2010/2011, when the transformation process was just about to start, and the country was still incredibly PURE (while the people suffered from hardship, unfortunately). The most exciting intercultural moments of my travel-career I had there.

same goes for MEXICO which many said is a NO-NO / NO-GO, but which I loved incredibly, particularly - to my own surprise - MEXICO CITY with all its cultural and historical offers, very affordable Hotels, good and safe public transport plus lovely food and great and SAFE nightlife.

the 7.5 earthquake on the day I was supposed to leave MexDF, which I have experienced on the 14th floor of a hotel was a surreal experience of its own, though not one I would have absolutely required whistling.gif
