i received a red stamp stating that i might not be granted another tourist visa and a blue stamp stating that i needed "proof of residence and proof of income next tine".....i have documents proving i'm resident here but i'm not sure about the proof of income....i have a Thai bank account with records of income but it doesn't state on my statements where the income is coming from....I'm now enrolled on a BA degree program and have documents stating i'm enrolled, and just need a single entry 60 day so it can be converted into a ED in Bangkok...does anyone think i'd have a problem getting a single entry using my printed Thai bank statement as proof of income?

You will do better to get the proper paperwork from the school and get an ED-visa straight away. Immigration normally does not covert for reason of study but send you broad to get a visa from a consulate.

If it is a renowned university it might be different, but check with them if they are sure it can be done.
