business visa

i have been offered a job working for a college in Pattaya.

I am rather confused on where to go to do this.

Can anyone offer me advice?

I would prefer to fly to Cambodia and have it processed there. Visiting a friend at the same time but i have had some people here tell me that the embassy in Phnom Pen do not issue business visas anymore.

Can anyone clarify if i can go there or if not, where can i go? Laos or Malaysia?

I first did the following post on anther topic you did on another forum that I have now closed.

"You can apply for a single entry non-b visa in PP with paperwork from your employer.

It can take up to 4 days to get your visa. Other embassies and consulates in neighboring countries do them the next day,"

You say you have found a job teaching at a college. If that is above what is considered above the basic education (high school or below) level that may change the requirements to get your non-b visa. They may require more documents and a work permit application approval letter from the Labor Ministry.
