Hi, does someone know about limeston or marble quarry/mine near Ubon Ratchathani that sell high calcium lime or marble dust? Or how do you guys get your calcium (if you live near Ubon)?

I am lookig for calcium carbonate (limestone) to fertilize soil with calcium (2/3 acre). I know I can buy everything in BKK, but shippin would be expensive.

The problem with calcium carbonate in in course form straight from a qurrey is it will not be in a powder form ,probalble with lumps in ,and that would take some braking down.so it would be slow releaing,good for long term.shot term not so good

Calcium is one of the trace elements,normal symptoms would be low ph of the soil and lime likeing plants would not do so well .

I still say bags of lime would be better and then use a say 20-10-10 , fertilizer.

Where I live we can buy bags of lime 10kg about 25 bart( I think).it is about.

Try nanagarden.com.they sell most things,might be available near to you.
