changsinghleo
Somebody please help me. I have my travel arranged for beaches in Thailand. One item I wish to bring along is a newly purchased beach towel with a bikini clad blonde on it. It is quite lovely with multi hued colors, etc. Now I've heard Thailand wouldn't allow such a towel to be displayed on the sand. Is this true? Don't laugh at me thinking this to be a fact. If it is, Philippines here I come! It is not too late to change my itinerary so I may include Vietnam too. Any info on whether my towel would be allowed there, on the beach, or even in my bag? It is 2015, or am I in a time warp of some kind?
roo860
German Thailand Kaput farang cant sit on the sand 55555 most western countries do not rent chairs/umbrellas for the beach get a life For me, i love it, Kamala Beach looks great and lots of people enjoying the beach I sat on the sand in Samui once, got worms eggs from the stray dogs under my skin on my bottom, i spent the next 10 days with an unbelievably itchy butt, had to take a course of tablets 3 times a day and could only sleep at night with ice bags on my bottom,i'll never forget that holiday. Sorry but I had to laugh!
NamKangMan
Better no more tourists are allowed on the beaches or simply close the airport again. Let the jet ski boys stay alone. Day by day, more and more, I am feeling embarrassed to say I live on Phuket. Administrators on this island are are a disgrace.
phuketrichard
the cig butts is well needed, I go to the beach every afternoon and i am amazed at the number of cig butts in the sand, Phuket is now attracting the lower class of people and many are Europeans an they smoke and like the Chinese are not house trained and stick their cigs into the sand thinking its an ash tray Please ban them Also why does the goverment not place trashcans every 50 meters or so on Every beach???

hanno
So, Thailand is kaput and you may not return again - because of a deckchair. Mother of mercy! Are people really that thick? Do they not "feel" the more natural environment around them and appreciate it? I'll bet these people think spending a night in a casino playing slots is really cool. Indeed. Bloody morons. I am not a beach person (grew up on one) but if I were I'd rather sit on the sand than in a chair that has the sunscreen and sweat of the 872 previous occupants permanently soaked into it "872 previous occupants" Your precision is admirable! lumply
Well, I like to be comfortable whilst relaxing on a beach. If that means hiring a sunbed for a pittance and contributing towards someone's income, no problem for me. I draw the line at jet skis, I go with the Australian training requirement, but otherwise their beaches do seem to be ridiculously over regulated. I spend lots of money. you destroy thailand. the policy is stupid, but the sense of entitlement is priceless. After paying to come here, the long journey to get here, and his support for tourism here for 20 years, I don't blame him for feeling "entitled" to some common sense. NamKangMan
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10205189336404457 And so it goes on.. Turning away what little is left of a once thriving western tourist market on Phuket. The system is so corrupt, they can't even regulate chair and umbrella hire on the beach. Absolutely riduculous.
