AyG Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I tried to submit a message via http://www.thaivisa.com/contact My email address (mandatory field) was rejected as invalid. I suspect this was because the part before the @ sign includes a full stop. Basically, the validation is broken.
Crossy Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Some domains are not permitted, what is the bit after the @? "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
AyG Posted February 16, 2015 Author Posted February 16, 2015 I should probably add that I eventually used an alternative @gmail.com address to submit the message. That went through OK. I don't think that @gmail.com is the problem. I can only think it's the full stop in the first part of the address.
RichCor Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 You do know that google allows but ignores the full-stop (period) in account names, right? So you could have submitted it without the dot. Same address. And I would think it very ODD that thaivisa would see a dotted email address as invalid. I would do some tests but I don't want to annoy Linda. 1
