PATTAYA: -- Following on from complaints received in relation to a Thai Pub which was reportedly open until the early hours of the morning when it should have shut by midnight, District Licensing Officials and the Army raided the venue just after daybreak on Tuesday.

The raid took place at the Krachood Pub located off the Sukhumvit Road in Central Pattaya close to a Tesco-Lotus Express store, just before 6.30am. Inside the venue were customers consuming alcohol and a DJ was playing music.

The music was stopped and the lights were turned on as officials began an inspection of the venue including a check on patrons and staff.

5 patrons under the age of 20 were found, 4 patrons failed a drug test and 5 people were found not to carrying their Thai ID card which is a minor offence in Thailand.
