What’s happening at Penang regarding multi Entry Non imm Os (spousal visa)

i went 6 month ago and it was as per usual. Marriage cert, copy of the wife’s ID, 3-day turn around, job done.

Obviously, from other forums I am now hearing it’s not the case.

So what is the case?

Does anyone here know what's going on.

My staus will have changed slightly by the time i need to go again. Not only will i have the obligatory Thai wife i will also have a Thai Baby, will this change anything for me?

At the moment having 5000 GBPs in the bank to satisfy Mr. Somchai is not an option.

so what are my options? I know i still have a while to go before the Sh*t hits the fan so to speak, is it just a storm in a teacup that will die down?

No problem for a Non O visa with a Thai wife OR baby in Penang.
