If you have a UK licence and an IDP then it depends on the DLT centre you use. My DLT office didn't want to see the licence that backed the IDP. I didn't to do need anything other than the red/yellow/green eye test in Udon Thani. No depth perception, no reaction time, no video. FWIW IDL (international driving licence) = fake scam National licence + IDP (international driving permit) = OK in most countries For the UK IDPs are issued by the AA, RAC, and post offices.
