Heres a few old skool but still valuable techniques that some of photoshops tools are based on.

I know a few of you guys will know this already but it may be interesting to people who have never developed their own film.

my very first Photoshop was on an Apple Macintosh II, back 1990. you just reminded me how bad I learnt Photoshop in the last 25 years; I still cannot do it better than my last darkroom skills :- (
