March 11, 201511 yr What I could never understand was that even though it was pitched to Thais, all the advertisements, web site, circulars and posters for it were in English There is apparently quite a following of these type of festivals with people who travel all over the globe to them so overseas promotion material was doubled up as local promotion material. But there was also Thai language material in Bangkok where the bulk of the attendees were meant to come from. Much was word of mouth, though, via the upper level of Bangkok's Thai trendy generation who generally speak English well. I know all this because my younger daughter was involved in the organisation side of Wonderfruit for some months prior to, and during, the event.
January 17, 20179 yr It seems that it has never been crowded but always too expensive. Any real experience here ? With such an expensive entry fee they must have enough to pay the cops and allow us to spend a great night ? :-)
