Singapore only does single entry tourist visas. They have been reported as denying applications if you have been on tourist visa just prior to applying for one. Don't want to return to Us till first of December single entry visa gives me to Novemebr looking for the extra month! You can get the same day if you pay agancies outside, but it does cost alot more for fast tracking your visa. It makes sense to spend the night in Laos and relax.
