My favorite beach is the one down south of Puerto Escondido in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Big long swells, good surf fishing... Perhaps too far to take him? I made the mistake of trying to surf near Pelaburanratu in west Java in good sized surf, bounced off the bottom missing half the skin on my left foot when I surfaced. It got infected and had to be lanced later in a clinic in Jakarta with half of the staff holding me down as I screamed in agony... Southern CA has the best all 'round conditions and the best beach food to boot...just got to watch the cops as no alcoholic beverages are allowed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
