am going home during the summer break (hooray!!!) ... and my boyfriend is coming too (hooray!!!) i finally get to show him the beaches down south

My favorite beach is the one down south of Puerto Escondido in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Big long swells, good surf fishing... Perhaps too far to take him?

Oh, sorry...well pretty much all the beaches in Thailand are great and you can't beat the food!

Khao Lak...it use to be nice...but development came..but if you look carefully, you will find what you are looking for in abundance.

ain't no good body surfing anywhere in Thailand...I suggest that you take him to southern california that also has the attraction of tortilla strips with taco sauce, hot dogs, cheeseburgers and whipped ice cream from the concessionaires at the lovely, safe and clean state beaches there...

koh mak and koh kood arent that bad either

pongster...oh yeah?? what about the coral?...don't like having to body surf in 80F water with a wetsuit for protection...

I made the mistake of trying to surf near Pelaburanratu in west Java in good sized surf, bounced off the bottom missing half the skin on my left foot when I surfaced. It got infected and had to be lanced later in a clinic in Jakarta with half of the staff holding me down as I screamed in agony...

Southern CA has the best all 'round conditions and the best beach food to boot...just got to watch the cops as no alcoholic beverages are allowed
