zaphod reborn
And I'm sure that a blood alcohol test was duly administered, correct? A little money will be paid to the decedent's family and no one will hear further of this matter.

NeilSA1
Yet another police shortcoming/failure to meet an acceptable standard. They really do need to be taken to task.
thailand49
Like I have been saying for years and years, until they lead by example nothing will ever change.

EyesWideOpen
This story will take about one day to do the classic Thai fade away......... That is assuming the guy he killed was a member of the peasant class. Wonder why the policeman did not do the standard hit and run ? Was his vehicle disabled ? That is about the only thing that stops runners. Edited March 30, 2015 by EyesWideOpen
MrWorldwide
The motor-bike rider was "imitating" a U-turn ?? Interesting. Clearly it was supposed to read 'initiating' - PattayaOne's crack proofreading team in action once again. Whatever he was doing, the poor bugger was in the wrong place at the wrong time - RIP. The general attitude to red lights here is pathetic and accidents like this are the logical outcome.
cookee68
If he was a commissioned officer he would not have been arrested, but he was just your general sergeant, he will still probably get away with it once they have deleted the CCTV tape

Basil B
At least it sounds like it is being investigated properly, lets hope they found a working breathalyser this time and the CCTV footage does not get lost.
