Phuket police are searching for a man named Somsak Yakob. A manhunt is underway in hopes of capturing Yakob on allegations of rape and killing a 1-year old child on April 3^rd in Phuket Town.

Somsak is believed to have harmed the child after calling the child’s mother to tell her that her child had fallen to his death. The mother brought the child’s body to the hospital where doctors examined the boy’s body to determine the cause of death. Doctors announced that there were signs of bruising and that the child had been raped.

The baby’s mother, who goes by the name of “Mon,” states that Somsak had been watching her child over the past two months while she worked at a karaoke bar. The mother paid Somsak to watch her child, but noted that when the child was returned, she would notice bruises on his body.

Mon failed to contact authorities because she thought the child was merely punished for being naughty and didn’t realize the severity of the abuse by Mr. Somsak.

Currently, Somsak is being sought for killing the child, but authorities are waiting for official autopsy reports before pressing rape charges. An arrest warrant for Mr. Somsak has been issued by the Phuket City Police.

I can't click "like this" (somehow seems inappropriate) but I 100% agree with this poster.

Words fail me, just so much wrong with this whole story. I cannot even dream up a severe enough punishment for this specimen.

Inhuman. If proven guilty - he must get the death sentence, nothing less.
