hey guys.. so here is my situation. I Had a ED visa learning english last year ( yeah i know its lame ) , everything was fine. 3 months ago i wen to school to renew it one year , they told me with new regulations i had to leave Thailand.

I did that and went to Penang with all the schools papers. Everything went fine and i had ED visa with 3 months to go.

Now the problem is my school just told me that there is new rules concerning learning English with ED visa in Thailand , and that its a maximum of 4 months......

So basically they are telling me i need to get a lots of papers , and pay money etc just for one more month , and after that its over. my current visa expires in 5 days ...

This sux a lot because i have a 4 months baby here and i need to be there. Im not married with the mother , i asked for an appointment with my ambassy in order to get a " able to marry certificate " and I have meeting end of may and i will have to wait 5 or 6 weeks more after that just to get it....

So basically what are my options ? i have two ED visa in my passport right now.

Can i go somewhere and ask for a 2+1 month tourist visa ? or will that be a red flag to immigration ?

Can i get any kind of family visa with a birth certificate with my name on it without being married ?

Thanks for advices.

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your child. You will need their birth certificate showing you as the father and a copy their house book registry.

You must have your child and their mother (if possible) when you apply. They might also want a copy of her ID card and house book registry.

You can also get a single entry non-o visa based upon being the parent of a Thai. in Penang with the birth certificate and house book registry.

No red flags from either of these.
