Help with travel route

Featured Replies

I would like to travel in between Uthai Thani and kamphaeng phet. I have looked up bus information but am having trouble figuring it out. Rome2rio says I could get a taxi, but I'm not sure if that's the best way or if a taxi would actually go that far.

In my experience, taxi will take you wherever you want if you have the money.

My longest trip was 5 hrs (10 for him).

Sure you could take a taxi/private van if you fancy so.

Its 164 km. A good 2h ride.

On the other hand: Uthai Thani is close to and Kamphaeng Phet is on THE major highway to northern Thailand.

Tons of buses should run on this route.

Sorry to say, but "rome2rio" is of limited value as it does not list any provincial buses in Thailand.

How far do you live from the Uthai Thani bus station?

Why not go there and ask. At least somebody will understand that you want to go to Kamphang Paet.

Do you have a link to an online bus schedule?

Could place it in the Thai language section.

Local bus info for Thai is pretty much non-existent on the internet. And if it is, it's in Thai...and probably out of date. Especially for smaller towns like this. Once you are there, you'll figure it out and it will be relatively easy and straight forward. Thailand has pretty good mass transit.

I went to the bus station and the lady showed me a list of the buses to Nakhon sawan, where I could def catch another bus from there. Thanks for your help. It's a little different in these non touristic cities
