Electronic Supply Stores?

Featured Replies

Back in the motherland we had electronic stores like Radio Shack where you could buy common electronics supplies. However I have never seen any shops here in thailand that sell similar components. Are there electronic supply shops in Thailand? (Bangkok or surrounding area)

Anyone?

I am specifically looking for breadboard, resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc for simple electronics lessons in my school.

Thank you in advance to all those who aim to be helpful regarding this topic....

and the rest.....(no comment acceptable for posting on this site)

The Ban Mo area of Bangkok around the Old Siam Plaza (GPS 13.746047, 100.499686) has more electronics supply stores than you can shake a stick at.

NPE or Amorn in the plaza itself should have 99% of what you need, Thip Wari Alley has 191% of what you didn't know you needed.

If you're on the north side of town there's an NPE in Zeer Rangsit which is where I get most of the bits I need.

NPE also has a website for mail order http://www.mynpe.com/mynpe/home.php but only in Thai.
