hello...

i was teaching in bkk and i went to laos with all the documentation from my school and came back with a non-o visa... the year before i did the same thing but got a non-b.

was this a mistake by the visa people? i thought a non b was for working and a non o is for dependents.

i would like to know because i want to extend the visa... they gave it for 3 months .. i think maybe i can extend it for a year.

if i want to extend my visa do i need to bring to the office ... tell them... prove etc. i.e. do i have to prove i have lots of money in the bank etc. or shoudl that have been done in laos already...

i wonder?

The "O" ( other) is the same as the "B" ( business) You are able to extend the "B" or the "O" for extension of stay based on business.

Just like you can extend a "B" ( Business) for extension of stay based on education, or support of a Thai national.

You do not need to change the visa to do the extension.
