Rescue workers remove the body from the scene.

PHUKET: A Patong jet-ski operator was founding hanging at his house early this morning (May 16). He had left goodbye notes to his family and ex-girlfriend.

At 5:30am Kathu police received a call from local residents who had found the body of a man found hanging from a wooden beam in the front of a house on 50 Years Rd in Patong.

Police and rescue workers arrived at the house to find the body of a man hanging by a rope from the beam. The victim’s feet were almost touching the ground and there was a chair lying next to the man.

In the pocket of the man’s trousers, police discovered three letters addressed to three people.

Police revealed that the man, Suradit Taweeratsarnti, 40, own a jet-ski operation on Patong beach and they say he had been dead for at least 6 hours and that there was no sign of foul play, assault or home robbery.

Police learned from neighbours that the victim has been living by himself since his girlfriend left him.

"He was under a lot of stress and in deep depression," said one neighbour.

Police will investigate more in this case before ruing the incident as suicide. However, they did state that the letters they found were all notes stating how depressing his life was and how sorry he was for leaving everyone he loves like this.

RIP, Khun Taweeratsarnti.

Though, where this thread goes is anyone's guess.

Doubt there'll be many bleeding hearts for these types. Even if he was one of the honest ones it'll matter not to any of those extorted by other jet ski crooks Over the years

Noted and I'll pass on any comment, except to say he might have been one of that rare breed, an honest jet-ski operator.

Maybe business went dead after jetskis were banned . RIP

Finally there was a real damage...

Do not know what to write about this ... (scams and such), beside RIP and strength to the family.

Good news at last. Now if the rest of the other 989 operators left, can join him in an eternal reunion, this will indeed be a joyous day.

Maybe he wasn't able to pay his monthly mafia dues......

"...Police will investigate more in this case before ruing the incident as suicide..."

So when it's a Thai, more investigation is deemed appropriate, but when it's a falang they have already declared it a suicide by the time of the article and with virtually no investigation.

One less dirty scammer. Karma caught up with this guy. I have no bad feelings. they all deserve it.

maybe he picked the wrong chinese tourist ....whistling.gif

I cannot imagine what he was thinking to take his life in this way. No one should think ill of the dead, especially in a derogatory manner. It didn't take long for the just to blow their trumpets.

I often wonder about Thai suicides and if they are related to corruption. Surely it cannot be healthy to have to cheat and treat good people like shit day in day out just to make a living ?

He could possibly be the most honest people in the jet ski business in Phuket.

an honest jet-ski operator. cheesy.gif

Today, Phuket is free of one less tyrant.

Suicide or gang warfare ?

I know depression is really bad if you cant snap out of it theres only one way out I know from experience what depression can do .

Not rushing to call this a suicide even with a note . Sorry not a Farang.

Question is: Who will take over the business?????.....someone better or someone worse??

"He was under a lot of stress and in deep depression," said one neighbor.

Since we are in Thailand.... This is Karma wai2.gif

Suicide or gang warfare ?

Possibly a guilt complex?

KARMA ! coffee1.gif

Are you human being? Ugly mind and heart you are.

Reading the above comments, it's obvious that there are so many sick people in thaivisa. Too much ignorant, morons and rednecks....

The usual responses ...if it had been a farang suicide the serial RIPpers would be out in force with the usual CSI speculation to follow.

Poor man, who knows what pressure he had been unde,r it takes the ultimate balls to end your own life voluntarily - a genuine RIP from me.

People are free to write what they want, ups no they are not I forgot and you are part of why ...

Too bad it wasent JJ that hanged himself - he is a true a-hole but there are so many of them unfortunately helping to destroy the country

Probably it was getting harder and harder to extort money from tourist because of the recent and on going crack down on these guys. This probably was the cause of his depression.

RIP Khun Suradit Taweeratsarnti.
