Lenovo Thinkpad 450s in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Would anyone know if I can find a new Lenovo Thinkpad 450s somewhere in Thailand? Lenovo Thailand have only the older 440s on their site.

May be interested in the new Thinkpad 550 as well.

Thank you wai2.gif

I had one of the older Thinkpads which I purchased in HK. After about 2 years it just started hanging and I went through the process of pulling out/pushing in the battery and rebooting. Eventually forced into TukCom where one of the shops did their usual thing of reloading the OS. Worked great for a week and then all the old crap returned. Decided to dump it in p/e for an ASUS. I had had the Lenovo for all of two years. Had to smile going past one of the second hand places seeing a line of Lenovos for sale. The thing is that the Thinkpad keyboard is just great. Loved it. Unfortunately I will not go near Lenovo again however robust the laptops look. I'm not going through that nonsense again.

Have to agree with Sheungwan that Lenovo make rubbish laptops, they have issues with many things mainly connecting to wifi. If you search for reviews of their products,

you will find this mentioned in nearly all of them and when searching their website for a solution to the problem, nothing. I have a Lenovo z580 but never use the wifi as it doesn't stay connected for long enough

Rubbish local service (Bangkok) as well. Third party vendor in Pantip. If their lips are moving, they're lying.

Try calling Lenovo support in Thailand, they have a web page showing a number of locations who sell their products.

Hardware House, hwhinter, was one location. And you might try tohome.com, I bought my IBM notebook there many years ago.
