May 31, 201511 yr Ok guys, So i've booked a Airasia fly n ride to mukdahan next week and i wont arrive in mukdahan until about 18:30. I've read on a post last year about somebody not being let through to Savannakhet as it was after 18:00, anyone had been over the bridge lately at this time or later?? Cheers.
May 31, 201511 yr the Lao visa on arrival office officially closes at 18:00. If they are busy they sometimes are open later. Best to plan a night in Mukdahan and take the first bus to Savannakhet the next morning.

May 31, 201511 yr I never use the flights as they are a pain in terms of arrival time thus trip takes far longer overall, always best be there in morning if can .
