My wife have a serious problem

Recommended Posts

I have new questions.

1) she has got debts before married. Do i need pay ?

2) we bought motobike 1 months ago. Using my wife name. If i dont pay it ofcourse she will have another debt too. So do i need to pay it ?

3) if i pay all 1 time do i need to share with my wife after divorce ?

Thank you again

1) No, you don't need to pay for your wife's debts that she got before you married her.

2) You are responsible for 50% of the debts you and your wife accumulated during marriage.

3) Your wife is entitled to 50% of the wealth, assets, and possessions you have accumulated during marriage.

For number 3 what if wealth assets and possessions' is in the negative :)

You might be better sitting with a lawyer and outining all of your concerns in person, if you can arrange and afford that.

I would first get out of the home situation, if that is possible, to avoid any further confrontation and take a break. You can always go further afield (Phillipines) when you've straightened it all out.

*come to think of it, with your income, and having people knocking on your/ your wife's door for money, get yourself cleared first. Was your marriage official and registered with the embassy?

in the thailand %100 official. but i didint give my documents my embassy. i mean my status single at my country.

3) Husband and wife share everything accumulated during their marriage at 50-50 % , including debts and possessions. It does not matter who earned what or who run up what debt.

2) No, unless your wife is linked to the company where you work, or unless she is an immigration officer.

1) Short answer Yes; long answer No, if you have a big shot lawyer who's going to argue that since your separation you didn't know anything about these new debts and that you would have opposed the taking out of a new loan.

Perhaps you'd like to share, without comprising your anonymity, how did you end up in this situation?

You married her for an non_ im-O visa, but now you have a non_im-B visa? What age group are you and your wife?

If you are no fake-troll, you must have been a goat or sheep herder in the Greek mountains or on a deserted island.

Surprisingly? Your English knowledge improved already after some postings? wink.pngrolleyes.gif

YOu say that you have a Non -o, then you ask if she can cancel your non B, then you said you have Non-o. What is it?

If the motorcycle is in her name, it is hers. The value of the bike - what is owed /2 is what you owe her. Personally, I would just pay it off.

You say that you are poor only 15k baht a month, then how did you get the extension to stay? Also how do you pay for everything for her family and her on that little?

Leave the house, go on your trip, don't get caught cheating on her. Come back to Thailand on a new tourist visa, tell her that you want a divorce. Give her some money 20-50k baht pay off. Meet her at the city hall, amphur with a lawyer or at the very least a male friend witness. Get divorced,

You aren't legally responsible for her children, any debts that she had prior to marriage, She is not entitled to your assets prior to marriage.

Just get divorced and then sort out how you will stay in Thailand later or go back to your home country.

It is shocking how good you are at spelling and how poor you are at organizing your thoughts. I do suspect you to be a troll and most likelythe infamous Costas, but in case you are for real, I hope my answers help you.

Jacksparrow, get the bus to Arunyapathet ( Cambodian Border )

book into one of the lucky casino's there .... order 10 beers and drink them and get pissed out of your head and play the poker machines for a couple of days.

you may have better luck there than where you are now ..... whistling.gif

i have friends.wife of him working at the immigration. they support me about documents and money too. i am paying back slowly. dont think too much. all bills just 2.500 baht ( internet, telephone, electric and water bills). i just buy simple foods and drinks. for example chicken, rice vegetables, fish.
