Since when did the police rush to anything?

Um..... he drowned !!!??? Good guess or not?

" .... Police suspect he suffered an acute medical problem as the mouthpiece of the snorkel was still inside his mouth when the body was found..."

Could it be possible that even the most dedicated TV sleuth will find it impossible to extrapolate a murder or a conspiracy from this one?

Tragic news for his girlfriend and family back home, we go on holiday and take it for granted that we shall have a good time and return home safely, not one of us will ever think of this happening to us!

Commiserations and condolences to his girlfriend, family and friends...

Several things could have happened depending on how good of a snorkler he was. My first guess is he dove down to deep ran out of air tried to make a rapid ascent inhaled while still underwater choked and then drowned!

Of course here in Thailand land of "kooks and nuts who drive motor boats and jet skies with total disregard for anyone's safety whether they are on the beach or in the water may have caused the untimely dimise of the snorkler.
