wuyts
Is it possible to obtain a Birth Certificate at the City Hall where you were born ? I have already the original, but I need a new birthcertificate, signed by an authorized civil servant. Can somebody request the document for me or do I have to go personaly to Nong Khai (quite far living in Belgium). Thanks a lot, Khomkhai SASADEE
fester
Yes, it is possible to obtain a copy of the Thai birth certificate from the local Amphur/City Hall, but you must apply in person, proxy are not allowed. Bring passport, Thai ID-card and Tambien Baan (House registration).
h5kaf
Why on earth would you require a copy when you have the original?

The Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels could certify copies of the original as true copies, and if need be, certify translations for you as well.
