I bought copper tube from an AC shop. I could not find solder fittings, so I brought these from my home country.

I had to modify the copper tube to made it fit in my fittings. I made a tool for this. After soldering the whole thing I had no leakages.

I placed the copper tubes on a 4mm alu sheet from 2440mm x 1220mm. I cutted small strips from 1220mm length from 0,3mm alu, around 100mm wide, and used rivets to connect this to the thick alu plate. (see picture)

This whole thing I painted black. I let this dry for about two weeks.and placed it in the box I had made.

Covered with a 8mm glass sheet.

Made a control box (I am not an electrician) with loads of contacters.

They take care that priority is filling the storage tank. Storage tank is filled when water in the collector is 7, or more degrees warmer than water in storage tank. When the storage tank is full and water in storage tank is 7 degrees below water temperature in collector, a circulation pump starts to run. When the water in the collector is below 55 degrees Celsius, the system is "sleeping"

That is more then 10 years back, it still looks like new.

Very professional !!!
