Honda XR650L with Legal Green Book

Featured Replies

Common dual sport motorcycles in America and Europe and still Made in Japan but very rare in Thailand due to 213% import duty and 70,000 baht Green Book. Great on Thai mountain roads as well as Super Highways.

Me too. Or a DR650. Basically anything air cooled with a carb and a plate and a book.

2 of my buddies ride old DR650s in CO.

Suzuki, right?

One is set up w/ 17" wheels

and papa got to ride it,

quick and  nimble

compared to KLR.

The have oil radiators,

like Raider150.

Yep, Suzuki.

Not ridden one, been made for decades like the XR, huge aftermarket, nice and simple to work on, no valve shims, just tappets, super strong motors. And most importantly; NO FI! NO WATER COOLING!
