kingstonkid
Has anyone heard what the policy is going to be for bars and restaurants during the 2 day holiday
Jay1
I can't remember the name of the website mate but if you google Non alcohol days Thailand and choose the top one there's a list of dates and alcohol status. I do believe the sale of alcohol in bars is banned nationwide during those 2 days. Not sure about hotels
KhunBENQ
Just read some reports from the past years: both Asanha Bucha and Khao Pansa will see bar closures (or at least no alcohol allowed). Many bars prefer to close if "just" no alcohol allowed. Maybe hotels will be allowed to serve alcohol. Shops forbidden anyway (officially ). Fill your fridge in time. KhunBENQ
See here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/842975-asalaha-bucha-and-khao-pansaa-next-week/ The back-to-back Buddhist holidays next week means two dry days in Pattaya as bars, restaurants and entertainment venues are barred from selling alcohol on Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31.
