True Move H SIMM registration July 31 deadline.

Featured Replies

If you dont register, what can, will or might happen?

Is it a wait and see game or you will loose your connection temporarily or permanently?

Thai friend told me they WILL cut your connection and has no idea if you can get it back .

I have an old large, not mini SIMM and would like to keep it not replace it with a mini.

It's just a matter of showing your passport to the phone company, they don't change the sim card or anything.

When I registered mine they entered some details into a computer then an sms text message came to the phone which confirmed it was registered

We've been told that as of 1 August 2015 unregistered phones will be able to receive calls and SMSes, but will not be able to make outgoing calls or send SMSes, or use mobile data.

Some NBTC members have been quoted as saying that operators must maintain unregistered numbers for at least one year, during which time they can be registered and full service resumes. After one year unregistered numbers can be recycled/resold.

I can see an extension, maybe even for a month, given that the deadline falls during a 4-day holiday/weekend, and millions of SIMs (many dormant admittedly) remain unregistered.

Yes, takes seconds. Nothing to it. I cant imagine what all the fuss is about.

@KittenKong Can I register my sim at 7-11? Where did you register your sim card?

I dont know about 7/11. I suspect not. But any True shop will surely do it, including the ones in supermarkets etc.

Needs to be done at a true shop? or where else?

Will the SIMM be able to access the internet via an air card if NOT registered in time?

They request you to bring the SIMM card in, do they take it, use it, process, or change it in anyway?

Thanks for the responses.

Any True shop.

I think not, though I'm not completely sure what you're describing.

No.

I did two. One in BigC, the other in a shop in Theprasit.
