Is it possible to get a 7 day extension on a 60 day tourist visa?

If yes, is there a cost?

I only need an additional 6 days, so would prefer not to pay 1900 baht for a full 30 day extension.

A 7-day overstay will cost you 1400 baht. But, if caught before making to the airport, you will end up in detention and facing deportation until you can buy a ticket (at an inflated price). Not 'worth it' IMHO.

Fine for overstay is 500 Bht/day

A 7 day overstay would cost 3500 Bht
