MILITARY COURT
Prayut accuser told to report back in a fortnight

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The military court has ordered the woman accused of starting the rumour about Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha transferring his money abroad to report on August 14 after it renewed her bail yesterday.

Rinda "Lin" Paruechabut, 44, a red-shirt supporter who spread a rumour on social media that Prayut had transferred his wealth worth Bt10 billion to Singapore, will have to report to the court on August 14, said her lawyer, Pawinee Chumsri, a member of Thai Lawyers for Human Rights.

Pawinee said August 14 is the last day for investigators to convince the court to accept the case and put Rinda on trial. The lawyer said the court had earlier granted Rinda bail after she was detained for a period and posing Bt100,000 as a bail collateral and released under the condition that she does not express her political opinion or incite social disturbances. She is forbidden from travelling abroad without the court's permission.

Rinda is accused of violating Article 116 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crimes Act by spreading the rumour.

BTW, What is Mr PM's wealth? And where was is obtained?

He became a billionaire on an army grunts salary because he married well. That is the official version anyway. Somyot became a billionaire on his coppers salary because he was an unbelievably canny investor(nothing about receiving proceeds from a police force founded on corruption and the funneling up of illicit income to superiors).
