PATTAYA: -- 100 Baht was stolen from a purse left on the passenger’s seat of a parked car at an East Pattaya Temple on Thursday Morning.

The front window of the Black Chevrolet Aveo, owned by Khun Nanapat aged 51, was smashed and the money was taken in broad daylight and appears not to have been witnessed by anyone.

For insurance purposes the car owner was required to report the crime to Police even though only 100 Baht was taken. She told Police that she was selling food at the Temple as it was a religious holiday and just before 11.30am she was informed by a friend that her car had been broken into at the Boonsamapan Temple Car Park.

The real news I suppose is that there is someone stupid enough to leave a purse in full view on a car seat in Pattaya!
