h90 Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 try it....Amazon gives you the total including Thai customs duty on checkout. You order Amazon and Amazon takes care on the customs clearing. If the costs are less than Amazon estimate they even refund it. So instead of a risk of unexpected costs you have the "risk" of unexpected refunds. Admittedly an ereader would have a limited lifespan, but just buy a new one and transfer the data over, or put all your ebooks on a USB stick. streboris Posted August 4, 2015 Share Posted August 4, 2015 I used to think I needed real books. Ebooks just aren't the same... Install kindle app on a mobile with a screen size of iPhone or bigger and it's very readable. You can carry your whole library in your pocket and read it at any time or place. You can read it in the dark. Set the paper colour black with white ink works great. You can buy and read books almost instantly. OK I can't share my ebooks.
