Hello all,

I am looking for multiple Entry Tourist Visa,

I have had a single entry TV and when i received this

i was told i needed to stay outside LOS for 90 days before i could come back.

If i have the multiple entry TV can you reapply for extension without having to leave

or do you need to stay out for 90 days after completion of visa

Tourist Visas are only available as 1,2 or 3 entries.

Each time you enter you'll be given a 60 day stay. Each 60 day stay can be extended by 30 days (1,900 baht) at an immigration office inside Thailand.

At the end of each 60 (or 90) days you must leave. You can stay out as little or long as you want.

The visa will be issued with an 'enter before' date which for a 2 or 3 entry visa will be 6 months from the issue date.. You must use all the entries before that date. If you enter on the last day before the 'enter before' date you'll still be given 60 days which can also be extended by 30 days.

If fully utilised a 2 entry will give you about 6 months with 2 extensions and 1 exit/entry. A 3 entry will give you about 9 months with 3 extensions and 2 exit/entries. Once the visa/extensions have expired you are free to re-apply for a new TR and don't need to wait any length of time before re-entering.

There is no requirement to be out of the country for 90 days between tourist visas.

Tourist visas are issued by the number of entries allowed. They can be issued as 1, 2 or 3 entry visas. Each entry allows a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days at an immigration office.

After the total of 90 days ends you have to leave and re-etner the country to use the next entry of the visa.

There are no "multiple Entry Tourist " Visas

TVs are issued by the number of entries permitted , 1,2 or 3.

There is no 90 day rule , you were misinformed.

i was told this at Singapore Thai Embassy earlier this year.

much appreciated for the info

it's not misinformation per se, it's THEIR rule, how they apply the law, in their region.

What's true in one border is not in another border.

I was told by Singapore Embassy today that all I can get from them is a 60 day single entry tourist visa. This would be fine but I need to leave the country 3 to 4 times during that period. can I do this at the airport? I am relocating and need to travel to my new country of domicile for signing leases etc. I will leave Thailand forever on 1st November.

You could re-entry permits to keep the remainder of the 60 day entry valid when you leave and enter the country.

You can get them at either airport in Bangkok 24 hours a day.

When you arrive with a tourist visa you be given a 60 stay stay. Once here you can apply for a re-entry permit from your local immigration office or at the Airport. This will allow you to exit but keep the original 60 day stay 'admitted until' date when you return.

Multi re-entry permits cost 3,800.

Single re-entries are 1,000.

Zonka...as the experts have pointed out...you can get a reentry permit. IMO do it at the airport. I did a multi at Don't Mueang few weeks back. 3800baht. Or you could do singles. Multi for you I'm thinking.

Also to members doing this first time at DM, the office is just on other side of immigration. Took me 5 minutes.

Pretty sure the office is before passport check at swampy so make sure you get it before going through passport control
