The ones I use are not copper but the type used for alcohol. although they can be used for distilling oils. ( as well as pure water)

A complete system which you cannot modify I am afraid

I have looked for years for metal spinners in Thailand and never found one ,

I have a friend who could make one by hand but its not going to be cheap like a 5000 baht chinese one ,

India is also a good place to look as metal spinning is a normal thing there probably taught by the British years ago.

Yes, that's where I might end up with the project. I just thought it prudent to ask my Thai visa forum friends before I "Go international" I do believe that the Agar wood oil industry has been going for many years in Thailand so I thought there must be someone out there making copper pots, its just a case of finding them. Thanks for the suggestions anyway, its appreciated.

if you find a Thai metal spinning shop I would love to know about it ,

we had thought of doing it ourselves but the learning curve is pretty high ,

plus the young workers do not stay around very long , so you train them and 6 months- 1 year they are gone ,

for anyone that cares there are some good "how to" videos on youtube
