The world is NOT going to end this month says leading astronomer

A leading astronomer has joined NASA in rubbishing a rash of online predictions that the apocalypse is due to take place in September

Well, you can all breath a sigh of relief - the world is NOT going to end this month, a leading astronomer has promised.

Philip Barnard, acting secretary of Wolverhampton Astronomical Society, has joined NASA in rubbishing a rash of online predictions that the apocalypse is due to take place in September.

“Put it this way,” said Mr Barnard, who has been a member of the Wolverhampton society since its launch in 1952, “I’m not planning anything.”

The cyber scare-story appears to have been spawned by Rev Efrain Rodriguez, who claimed to have received a divine vision of an apocalypse asteroid colliding with Earth between September 15 and 28.

I was so please to be informed of this, I ran 20 red lights in honor of the astronomer.

If he is wrong, I am going to sue.

Crap, now I have to return that Ferrari I place on the never never payment plan.

Good, I have bought some green bananas the other day and I was worried I wouldn't have the chance to eat them...

damn, i just used up all my money on hookers & drugs for this

what can i do now ?

I did too!

...of course not! The label on my yogurt says good before Oct. 28. 2015.

If it does end- I hope ThaiVisa will be the first to report it.

just another bogus religious zealot that spews lies and fear to further his own agenda and line his pockets.

Yet people will still continue to follow and support these scam artists that pray on the sick, weak and vulnerable.

It seems this same guy also "prophesied" the same thing last year (in June 2014) and the world was supposed to end by the end of 2014.

Even his fellow Christians debunk him and point out all the fallacies in his prophesies.

The world will end when I say it ends and that is all there is to it. Now go back to whatever mundane tasks you were doing while I continue working on my "zombiefication" formula and watch the value of my tinfoil stocks soar !

(Remember, headgear made from higrade aluminium foil is proven to be effective against the CIA mindrays, but it must be the expensive, best quality foil. My portfolio thanks you !)

Why would anyone listen to this guy? The world will be around for a very long time. The quality of life may diminish if people do not stop having alot of kids. But the world will continue. Why fret and get caught up in fear, by listening to fools?

Print another batch, but this time worry about getting caught. Worrying is optional, though.

Whacko idiot. Why he gets any media coverage is even more stupid!

Thank God! I'm so relieved.

I deeply disapointed. And what about "Shemittah " , I'm absolutely not religious , but I was at least hoping for a financial breakdown & reset ( destruction of paper money , banker & politicians hanging from bridges,...). Bummer !

Go get some more! ( money that is!)
