junkofdavid2
Hi, I have a multiple entry B visa. From my last stamp "in" I am allowed to stay til Nov. 25. However, I plan to leave on Dec. 3. Is there a way to legally extend without paying a "fine"? (I don't want any violation on record) I also don't want to do a land-border run.. How much would the extension fee be? Thanks!
ubonjoe
The longest you can get is 7 days to leave the country after paying 1900 baht for an extension.
PoorSucker
If you are married to a Thai national or have Thai children you can get 60 day extension else only 7 days.

Am i able to do a 60 day extension based on having a thai child? The 90 day thing is a permit to stay allowed by your visa. You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your child, They will have to be with you when you apply. You will need their birth certificate plus a copy and a copy of their house book registry. llhm2711
Just 1 more question. Do i need money in bkk account or proof of income. If so will a stat dec from the embassy suffice for proof of income
ubonjoe
No financial proof is needed to get a 60 day extension.
junkofdavid2
if you leave before the "Enter Before Date" and come back before that date you will get another 90 days. The "Enter Before" date is 1 year away; I'm aware of this rule and this is not related to my opening post. Thanks.
siam2007
interesting. Didn't know a non-Immi-B multiple (and then probably non-immi-O too) can be extended for 7 days after the initial 90 days period. Could save me some money in the future.... Too
Hello, How are you going to leave Thailand? By air? If so, what time is your flight? If it's right after midnight, you can go through Passport Control before then and you won't overstay. You won't get fined for overstaying not more than 24 hours if you fly out, I believe.
junkofdavid2
Just booked flight for Dec. 2 nighttime, so I should be okay after the 7-day extension. Tempted to just do a 1-day airplane run though; Thai Airways has good promos now (Bkk Phom Penh for 870 one-way); might be better than paying 1,900 to the government

Your wife will need to go with you when you apply. The will will more than likely want proof of residence.

ubonjoe
If you use the address that is on your wife's house book registry that would be accepted as proof of residence.
