Used online bookstore

Featured Replies

I am trying to find a used bookstore online for Thailand. Anyone know of any?

Dasa in Bangkok have the list of their over 17,000 used books on their website, but I believe they do no mail order business.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

I've purchased online from DASA several times with the books EMSed to my house, no problem.

Good news for the OP, then. I didn't see it mentioned on Dana's website.

I was in their shop a couple of times, quite a distance from the nearest BTS station, as I remember it, and the BTS fare probably cost more than EMS postage. Next time, I will know better.

You could try this website out. http://www.geckobooks.net/SearchBooks.html

This used bookstore is in Chiang mai and they have about 4 at least outlets pretty much all around Tha pae gate.

DASA everytime. I've been using their EMS postal service for years now. Highly recommended.

Half-price credit given on their books if you return them in exchange for other books.

Yes, that walk from the station is a bit of a bind on a hot day with a couple of dozen books to be returned, so I use mail order now.

Like other posters, I can totally recommend Dasa's EMS mail service; I have used it for several years and never a problem..
