villageidiotY2K
If some members have experience in this, please give me some advice and measures... The story goes like this. I opened a couple of foreign currency accounts at Kashikorn bank few years back. And I do have a Thai account as well. Below are some of the problems I encounter: - Was told, transfer can only be done at big branches that aren't stationed inside the mall. But when I visited some of these big branches, the staff there reply can not do. They can't even update my foreign account bank book. - My Thai language ain't that good, and I asked for English speaking operatives in these big brances. But no have, speak English nid noi daai kha. (I know this ain't' always the case as I had dealt with English speaking op at Bangkok bank) - So I went to the other big branche, but the staff doesn't know how to handle. They need to get instructions from some seniors. They can't even calculate the convertion. I tapped figures into their calculator for them... - From my last expereince few months back, it look 1h30 to get things done. Luckily the rate hadn't changed much during that agonizing period. My worry is that, I would like to get things transffered at peak, and there is a big possibility that the rate will drop during their yipyaps. I have asked them about internet banking service for foreign currency, but seems they do not offer. (Kashikorn) Please help me please, I would like to squeeze 70k bath from the rate soon
chrisinth
Does that bank provide coffee and sandwiches while you are waiting for the peak transfer windows? Sounds like an almost foolproof way of trading. Learn some Thai and the world could be your oyster. But be aware, it only takes one bad one........................
