So i sent a small package from thailand to ireland. Its been saying uk administration system for a week plus now . I even tryed to put the tracking number in rolal mail website. Were it told me its too many digits. I screenshoted the tracking. Whats going on with my package were is it .

But it really matters if royal post scans it and uploads it that day ,

We have had half the eBay sales we sent to the UK go missing , not sure if its on the BKK airport side which was the last scan , or in the UK ?

And does the UK royal Post take care of Ireland mail ?

I've had a similar experience, you have to wait for it to be scanned the other end before you can trace it again. probably stuck in the bottom of a container at Heathrow.

Why should it be better in GB

In Germany the customs office in Frankfurt is THE bottleneck.

Takes them days to check each and every shipment (at least for certain countries).

Be patient !

I always have to send some stuff to Ireland (Rep). It varies. Sometimes 10 days, sometimes 4 weeks, and even 6 weeks are "normal"

Royal Mail doesnt offer point to point tracking on that service, they will only show it as "delivered" for proof of delivery.

Parcels normally clear customs in a couple of days on less there is a fee to be paid .

Is the parcel going to the north or the south.

If going to the south try an post

Royal Mail tracking will not update if they don't have it any longer

Thanks everyone for awesome replies. After trying royal mail uk site for days it finnaly gave me a report of my package for privacy. I blocked the code. Here it is. Im in the south of ireland. So i wonder when i will receive it.

I agree, the last month not much of my mail got past the airport, I assume its being stolen, never used to have this problem

I have been using the same service for many years now and it is extremely reliable. Generally I would estimate my parcels to UK take 10-14 and 14-18 days to Ireland. The online tracking information is not always complete, but the parcels still arrive.

Of the major western countries, my parcels to the UK are quickest and have the lowest reported loss rate.

Perhaps once a year, there seems to be a disruption which I have never been able to understand which results in batches taking up to 1 month.

I think the clue to your missing parcels might be ebay. This site has a much higher attrition rate than private sales or more reputable sites. Moreover these things seem to happen in spates. I was able to establish buyer fraud a long time ago.

As mentioned in aprevious post occasionally there are delays, and it is at this point the item not received claims peak. Over many years though I established though that they do arrive. It's just that for some dishonest people late post = lost post.
