bina
any cheap hotels/hostels near the airport for the nite while waiting for daughter??? it seems the friend in bangkok idea is falling through (how typical) so apart from sleeping on benches, any ideas and , no, we are not able to afford one nite of novetel etc... just need a shower/bathroom/bed to sleep in (thai style cold water ok)....cant seem to find any on the net... anyone try anything in the area, a short taxi/bus wont be bad either but bangkok is out of the running at the moment. (and one that wont charge per hour for services rendered u know what i mean)

ace
Bambina, Thanks for the hotel info, very handy ! I've got a 07:00 flight next month, but then again I guess travel time at 4.30am should be fine from anywhere! What's the opinion on getting there in general? As far as I can see one should get to On-Nut & get the bus or taxi from there, but other people are saying it doesn't make much difference, or to go from Victory... Cheers,
