boomerangutang
Almost off topic, but there have been times when I've asked around for a Thai to do some artwork. Everyone I speak with says right away, "I'm not an artist. You need to find a professional artist." Let me add; the artwork I needed (at the time) was not like a Goya painting, but rather a simple project. My response to my Thai friends is: "everyone's an artist." It's a mind-set issue. Just like everyone can do yoga, or cook a tasty meal, or write a song. Thais in general would be well served to understand that interesting creations aren't only created by certified professionals. One way to prove this, in regard to artistry, would be to have more outlets for art: in schools, in community gatherings, at homes. Same for dance, music playing, song-writing, cooking, etc. Instead of limiting their creativeness, Thais could be expanding their horizons. They're good at creating babies though, ha ha. sceadugenga
With a population growth of only 0.3% it seems that most Thai families are content with 1 or 2 children these days. I'll agree that the enjoyment of the baby making process seems to be as popular as ever. http://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/thailand-population/
