BANGKOK: -- Bloomberg, Bangkok Bank, PTT Group and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) will hold the second Bloomberg ASEAN Business Summit on December 3 and 4 at the Siam Kempinski Hotel.

During the two-day conference, Asean leaders across business, finance and government will have a chance to meet and discuss the impact of Asean integration and identify emerging business opportunities.

"Our inaugural summit last year on the Asean Economic Community drew a large regional audience of top business leaders, government officials and innovative thinkers," said Parry Ravindranathan, managing director of Bloomberg Media Asia Pacific.

"Our second iteration of the summit arrives at a critical time for ASEAN amid market volatility and an uncertain global environment. We are glad to be back in Bangkok to further important conversations on the region’s business potential of integration and Asean’s economic future."

Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich said Bangkok Bank is happy to join Bloomberg to hold the event again.

"Last year’s summit exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of discussions and caliber of speakers," he added.
