Question to TV users (last question I promise lol)

Featured Replies

Do people on a TV usually bother with extensions if they're getting more than one TV In the time they're here?

Or do they just do the runs and then renew the visa. Seems like too much effort and more expensive to bother with extensions every possible time..?

A multi entry tourist visa gives 6 months without extensions, right?

That's entry for two months , visa run, two more months, visa run, two more months.

Am I the only one who thought of doing two extensions when taking the TV visa run option?

That is an individual decision. There is no approach that fits everyone.

Some people hate going to Immigration, and would do long travels to avoid that. Other like to travel and visit a nearby country for few days.

Others hate doing border hops, unless no other alternative exists.

Some people lives near Malaysia, or likes to fly, and takes advantage of the fact that it's free for border hops.

Others go for the cheapest option possible.

Not sure what multiple entry tourist visa you are writing about. The only multiple entry tourist visa is the new one that starts on the 13th of November.

You do not mention how many entries are allowed on your current tourist visa. With a 2 entry you can only get a total stay of about 120 days of stay and a 3 entry 180 days unless you get extensions.

Edit: Did not notice that this a duplicated topic until now. This one now mfr_closed1.gif
