webfact Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 “Friendly” check of bars by Pattaya Police as School Holiday beginsPATTAYA: -- 100 Police Officers took part in what was described as a “friendly” check of Bars and Pubs in the 3rd Road area of Pattaya, which is popular with Thai patrons.Police Colonel Sukthat, the Pattaya Police Chief, led the operation, in the early hours of Thursday and checked many bars along Pattaya 3rd Road, well away from the Tourist Entertainment areas.The reason for the operation was to check to see if any teenagers were frequenting the bars, as many schools are currently on mid-term break.
